One time a man came to H.M. S. Richards and said, "I don't believe in God."

"Why?" Richards asked.

The man replied, "Because 1 can't see Him."

Richards said, "I don't believe you have a brain."

"Why?"

"Because I can't see it."

We take advantage of many things we can't see. How long has it been since you saw electricity? Have you ever seen a radio wave? Can you see the air you breathe? We can't see the wind. We can't see germs and bacteria. We can't see that mysterious thing called "life." But we can see the results of all of the above!

Even though we cannot see God or hear His voice with our human equipment, we can still see the working of His power; and by taking advantage of the avenues of communication that He has given to us, we can come to know Him. It's in knowing Him that we learn to trust Him, for He is worthy of our trust.

God Exists in the Two Dimensions of Your Life.

God does not exist only in the personal life but also in the corporate life of His church. That’s why Christians come together week after week for church worship service and group meetings so that they can grow in their trust and love for God and one another. God must not only be experienced on a personal level but also on a corporate level. A personal experience with God must climax in a corporate worship experience.

Jurong Church is not a museum for the saints but a hospital for broken people. This church is not perfect and we do not pretend we are. In a fallen world, everyone, everything, including you, is imperfect. We do not believe we are “holier than thou.” We simply recognize that we are all broken people on the same boat. We need God. And we have a perfect God who loves and guides us. He has given us precious instructions to live this life with strength, confidence, joy and peace in our hearts. He does not promise a life without pain and struggles but He does promise He will be with us when we go through the trials of life. And His church will be His agent to dispense much of these responsibilities.
