Unlike other SDA Churches, we have merged the Pathfinders and Adventurers club into one unit.
The Eduro Pathfinder Club was formed in September 2002, by a group of Seventh-day Adventist parents and church members who recognized the need and importance of nurturing our children in the most conducive way. Soon after, the Eduro Adventurer Club was formed to cater to children between 5 to 9 years old.(K1 to grade 4)
The word Eduro means To Endure in Latin. It is through the lessons learned from the activities of the club that we hope the children will grow up to be good citizens with strong characters that can withstand all the social ills in our modern society.
Since the club started, it has attracted a steady stream of new membership from the church community, the Seventh-day Adventist Kindergarten and the community at large.
The Eduro Pathfinder Club has designated 2 recruitment periods each year (January and June). The club will meet at 2:15pm to 4:15pm every Saturday except on the 1st Saturday of the month.

In Perspective
The Pathfinder Club is a worldwide organization sponsored by the Seventh- day Adventist Church. Around 30,000 clubs operate in 130 countries with a world membership of over 1 million Pathfinders. Any youth between the age of 10 to 15 years who promises to abide by the Pathfinder Pledge and Law can join a Pathfinder Club.
The Adventurer Club is also a worldwide organization sponsored by the Seventh- day Adventist Church. However, it is catered for children from the age of 6 to 9 years old - grade 1 until grade 4. The Adventurer program was created to assist parents in their important responsibilities as the child’s primary teacher and evangelizer. The program aims to strengthen the parent/child relationship and further the child’s development in spiritual, physical, mental, and social areas. In this way, the church and school can work together with the parent to develop a mature, happy child.
Although the Pathfinder and Adventurer Club are sponsored by the Adventist church, children of any faith are welcome to join. |
